My
original intention was to market my five varieties of hand-made packets
of fresh air on eBay and in the small ads of magazines to highlight
how we commodify everything. However, I was dismayed to find that air
was already being seriously sold on eBay and therefore changed my tack
and took it to the high street instead, posing as a merchandiser giving
away free trial samples.This was a fun and worthwhile experience and
a real turning point for my work, leading to a much more interactive
approach in much of my future work. See
